"I am convinced that it is not the fear of death, of our lives ending that haunts our sleep so much as the fear... that as far as the world is concerned, we might as well never have lived."

Prologue
The cold breeze metastasizes through the rainbow of trees. The gentle wind blew to make the trees hustle hum together in harmony. Their melody was not one of happiness but of an overwhelming despair. The clouds loomed over the trees and as to understand the trees' song, cried onto the red planet. Leaves swung to and fro, willing to fall to the world. A sole leaf offers itself to the world below, extending itself as an
Sprouting Love
My flower's heart withers no more
No longer seeing or love as a chore
I show her my true intentions are pure
And that I will always love my love forevermore
I pour my love to her as a confession
That my love will never sever.
And even if I have that strange obsession
I would still want us to be together forever
She has said that she has forgiven me
And that it's ok for me to be
Who I am as a person inside
But all I want in life I cannot hide
So now I watch my flower's love regrow
No longer is her head sinking to the ground so low
She now towers those who are also on this love plateau
My flower let us contin
I Love You
Just three little words
don't seem like enough
for someone whose smile
still brightens my day,
whose touch can make me forget
the rest of the world.
They don't seem like enough
for someone who's always been there
to celebrate with me
when everything goes my way
and to hold my hand
when my whole world
seems to fall apart.
But even though "I Love You"
can't express the depth
of my feelings for you.
I hope you know what's in my heart.
Because loving you
means more to me
than anything in the world
and it always will.
Gizmo
I found a small rabbit, petite and black
Whose fur shimmered in the bright sun
I knew that this was a gift from heaven
After losing my other rabbit to the attack
Of an animal who thought it was a snack
Who I will always fear and loathe as a villain
Wishing I could take it back and take action
I knew this rabbit was one
Creeping towards it ever so slowly
I made my way over to the little fellow
I grabbed the rabbit around its body
It did not cry as I picked up calmly
And began to lick my nose as if to say hello
I happily took him home and named it Gizmo.
Response to DESIGN by Robert Frost
Do you really stare at spiders all the time
Why not stare at something cuter
Maybe a cat or a dog or even an antler
Or even children playing during schooltime
Playing soccer, baseball and other pastime
Proving to see which team is stronger
Playing until they hear the screams of thunder
And begin to run away as if they had committed a crime
So I ask you again why you waste your time
Staring at the things that are so small
Your message eludes me like a bothersome mime
Did you do this so you could make a quick dime
Or is there a hidden message behind it all
Perhaps it
